Types of Writing: Forms & Features

Six forms of writing set up as three contrasting pairs — scientific vs science, creative vs content, technical vs business — each with its features, its examples and a sample page.

The deck is built the same way three times. A divider slide names the pair (slides 3, 8, 17); bullet slides give each side's features and examples; an image slide shows a sample of the form; and for two of the pairs a DIFFERENCES table closes the section (slides 15–16 and 25).

The thread through all six forms is audience. Scientific writing is for experts, science writing for a broader non-technical public, content writing for a brand's market, technical writing for non-specialists who need organized facts, and business writing changes its tone for each reader. The next deck, Audience Types, makes that the whole subject.

The title slide carries the course code STW EX20003 and "Unit 01".
